Yatai: street food stalls in Japan

Food stall in Osaka, Japan , , ,

One of the best things about travelling to me is trying street food and experience the local cuisine and culture. ..
Street Food is hugely popular all around the world. Eating from food stalls is the best way to experience authentic and delicious food around any country. Also, it is one of the easiest and cheapest ways to enjoy a meal.

Japan is no different and its street food stalls are known as Yatai.
Did you know, Osaka is one of the global capital for food lovers and is simply and indisputably one of the best places in the world to eat. There the food culture can be summed up in one word: kuidaore, which roughly translates as eat until you drop. Osakans love food, and the city is a Japanese culinary highlight, and street vendors offer a huge variety from seafood to delicious ramen.

When it comes to enjoying Japanese food, you may feel daunted by traditions, customs and etiquette. Don’t be! There’s nothing to be worried about enjoying some delicious street food. In Osaka, you will find more than 200 kinds of cuisines from around the world. But what about drinks? Japan is of course famous for Sake (rice wine) which you can enjoy with your meals.
