WHY I'M CRAZY ABOUT
JAPAN
THE LAND OF THE RISING SUN
Japan was one of the first country I had ever been to, so no wonder it took a special place in my heart. The culture, food and people in Japan, everything is so amazing and overwhelming that I never wanted to leave. Everyday I learned something new about the country and it’s rich heritage, their sense of selflessness really left a remarkable impression in my head.
There’s so much we can learn from them and that’s also one of the reason why I’m crazy about Japan. Indeed, Japan is the most travel-friendly country in the world. Not to forget, Japan is the nation of politeness. Even though the Japanese culture and their habits might be pretty different from many other countries, and a lot of people don’t speak English here but I found Japanese people extremely polite and genuine! I could literally fill pages about why I love this country so much.
DID YOU
KNOW
Have you heard about the cat islands?
A Purr-fect paradise for all the cat lovers out there.
Just off the coast of Japan, there’s a little fishing island named Aoshima where the cats have taken over. The locals call this place “Cat Island” because there’s now over 120 wild felines that call this home.
Aoshima Island is one of about a dozen “cat islands” around Japan, small places where there are significantly more feline residents than people. In Aoshima more than a hundred cats prowl the island, curling up in abandoned houses or strutting about in the quiet fishing village. Cats outnumber humans six to one on the island. Recently becoming popular online, tiny Aoshima has seen a steep rise in tourist visits, overwhelming the handful of permanent residents.
